in the library

im in the library right now and i'm supposed to be working on some chem shit but my group is not here yet. i do not enjoy being in the library. it makes me feel nerddd.
i dont have a costume and i blame myself becasue it was not my priority. i feel like i need to be more social. because being antisocial in the library waiting for my chem group is making me all depressed.

i lost my tennis match, but me and that girl i got beat buy 2 times now might be doubles partners in the spring :) :)!
and i'll play singles too, oh and maybe i'll play corec doubles so i can have 3 times the amount of tennis in the spring! this sounds like a plan. exciting exciting. its so much better to play intramurals than high school team tennis cus u schedule ur own matches and work out wats good for u and u schedule ur own practice with ur friends. shoot i need to do my math hw. its not too bad cus we're learning stuff that i learned in analyt. in math team.....so yes all those years of math team do pay off. yo google my name in google and u will find that i am a math whiz AND a trig star....awesomeness indeedy. :)/ -__-

bio midterm tomorrow.
tennis match in half an hour against a girl that beat me last time.
its so cold outside. i wore my boots today. i have choke math problems to do. i gained 2 pounds. hopefully its water weight. i ordered a memory foam for my bed yesterday. my back is sore and i cant sleep well anymore. it feels as if theres a permanent dent in my bed due to the springs being smashed. my roommate tells me i grind my teeth. im going to the health center for a check up on friday to ask about that and perhaps get a mouth guard? i also need to check my eyes cus the other day it felt like there was some type of bump on my eyeball, but i think it went away, but still i just wanna check it out. im in need of a halloween costume to get into a party. if i dont have a costume then i have to pay 5 bucks. i think i might be a bumble bee since my roommate is a lady bug and we can be matching! hehehe. but maybe something else will strike my fancy. i might visit Target tomorrow or Thursday if my roommates mom or friends will drive us. i dont really know why im updating. my computers gonna die soon and i have a lot of hw. oh i know. its cus i love u guys :)

STANFORD

I went to stanford today which made me sad because stanford kids are so fucking lucky!even though i went there 2 summers ago, i just realized they have such a nice campus with so many more ammenities than ours and their houses are so nice. :( :(
I went to a american medical student association meeting and they had a drawing and guess who won?? :) I DID! I am one lucky sucker cus I won a free Kaplan MCAT prep class valued at $1,899! I think thats the first time I ever won any raffle drawing where only one person got chosen. I now semibelieve in Karma. I did some good things today.
oh shit that girl i carpooled with to get to stanford nearly killed all of us cus she did not do any head checks!! and when she merged into the lane there was a car there so she had to come back in, and when she was coming back n there were cars merging into our lane! fucking scary!

I cleaned my desk

Last night I cleaned my desk and today I feel like a brand new person...Rejuvenated and ready to take on anything. I lost my intramural tennis match last night, but its all G I'm getting better and that's all that matters :)

I'M A NERD!

i like learning about the brain far more than i enjoy learnign about plants and how they turn toward light. everything in my bio class is in greater detail than AP Bio. IT's kind of cool, yet depressing at the same time.

i really do not enjoy chemistry labs because i do not know what my lab partners are doing the whole time. they know exactly what they are doing and i am left asking them questions or staring off into space as they do everything. i dont mind the class work but labs just leave me confused, but labs matter more since thats when ur actually applying it. damn. i'm not gonna be a chemist or anything so i mean its alright!!!! i need to take a chill pill -__-

im planning on playing tennis tonight, although its alrady 9:57 PM. I'm waiting on people to get ready! I really need to practice for my intramural match and also get some excercise.

the weekend!

Today is Saturday. Saturday is the day that I sleep until I naturally awaken. This morning, that time happened to be 10:00 AM. This was extremely unusual for me becuase back at home I would never be able to sleep in past 8:30 or so. I think this has to do with the orientation of my bed in my dorm AKA my face is not facing the window anymore! On the weekends I like to make sure that my blinds are shut tight, as to minimize the amount of light that comes in to my room. In doing so, I acheive a maximum amount of sleep before I naturally awaken.

Another cause of my later natural awakening could be attributed to my later sleeping hours. The average time that I sleep has been increasing from 11:30 to 12:00 to approximately 1:00 A.M. since I arrived here at Santa Clara University.

Wellllllllllllll today I did not do anything productive, just chilled. Last night I went to a bonfire at a mainland beach at Santa Cruz. It was so cold that my feet got numb and I had to warm them in the fire. I went with the Asian Club which consists of mainly California azns (to meet hawaii azns u join the Hawaii Club). We roasted marshmallows and made smores. My roommate and her high school friends drove us there and it was a friggin one hour drive. Her friends listen to only gangster music. I had a huuuuge headache in the car cuz there was choke traffic! so i decideed to drift into a nap. i awoke to the "you can have wahtever u like yeeeeah." when we got there the sky was a pretty shade as evidenced in this photograph :):

The smores were delish, but now I'm worried about my sugar intake. It doesnt help that my mom sent me a bunch of chocolate macadamia nuts! A the bonfire we played the ten fingers game...the game where u hold up ur ten fingers and everyone goes around and says something they havent done before, and if uve done it then u have to put one of ur fingers down. Yeah, well gues what? I won...which may or may not be a bad thing. It means that I'm sheltered and havent done as many bizarre things as everyone else. Anyways, after the bonfire one of the officers asked my roommate and I and her friends if we wanted to go drinking with them afterward at his house near school. We said yeah maybe we'll call u later, but we didnt go. What we did end up doing was driving for another hour back to San Jose, dropping off one of my roommates friends, and then heading to In N Out, where I had a delicious Double Double burger(double the meat, double the cheese) for a cheap price, oh andd also a strawberry milkshake (yikes sugar!!! luckily i didnt eat anything that sugary today). It was delicious!

I got a B on my first Biology mini exam =/ i thought i did better. Im pretty sure i bombed my firstout of 2 religions quizzes for my honors religion class. I dont think that it helps that everytime I go into the class I go in with an atheist mentality (i blame my dad). well i'm trying to be more open minded with that class and Im actually taking notes now, so hopefully I will do better on the nxt quiz. I guess its actually quite interesting since we are learning about how Christianity was formed and why there are so many divisions in it. Its kind of stupid how people fought for religion. Separation of church and state seems like the only practical thing to do and I cant imagine it otherwise. I'm doing well in Chemistry where we are learning about global warming in greater detail as well as quantitave stufffs. Math is alright...I have a midterm for that next week. I should be doing practice problems right now.

today consisted of staying in my room, eating, and homework. My roommate leaves for the weekends and I am left with nothing to do, noone to reallyy talk to. I'm not that close to other suitemates. So I am listening to MCR...IM NOT OKAYYYYYYYYY.

College bollege schmollege

I'm really used to living here now. I don't feel homesick at all. There are a lot of Hawaii people at Santa Clara. I joined a couple of clubs and am going to do intromural tennis. The only bad thing is that I am playing womens singles. So I will get wooped, but hopefully I will get better. I joined Rotaract, the ASian Club called APSU (we're going to eat hot pot tomorrow), the Hawaiian Club, and Salsa Club. I'm joining all these clubs so that hopefully I won't ever be bored.

So I turned 18 last week. My suitemates bought me a fish bowl for my fish that I won from the APSU club booth. It is unnamed. Nicole sent me this USB flash drive with Hawaiian music in it. Thanks, it was really moke...just my style :D

College isn't as different as I thought it would be. I think that one of the fundamental differences between high school and college is alcohol. That's about it, oh and the fact that it's like a long ass sleepover. My classes are not as challenging as I thought they would be, but I'm not complaining. My suitemates are aight maybe a bit spoiled, but I'm closest to my roommate. She's super nice and her mom made us flan today.

Today our floor of the dorm went to Sky High a place filled with trampolines where u can jump, play dodgeball, or even jump into a foam pit...not as exciting as it sounds, but it was a good cardio workout.

Speaking of cardio workout, I try to go to the gym every other day since it is right across from my dorm. I'm adopting a healthier lifestyle here. There's a lot of healthy foods in the cafe and its not that bad at all.

As for the social life....well I'm meeting people from classes. A lot of the engineers in my dorm have the same classes. So I guess that's good. I see familiar faces from Maryknoll too here and there at the Hawaii Club like Matt and Krisha. People are generally friendly...on the outside at least. the Hawaii club had a party at a frat house called Hawaii House, but I did not attend. I hang out with my roommate a lot and also some kids from HBA....they were also captains of their math teams...so we have that in common -___- u must be thinking LAME...yeah i know. but i mean people are kind of cliquey even though theyre nice...its like high school! the iolani kids only hang out with other iolani kids. the punahou kids hang out with other punahou kids. and i hang out with the PAC-5..ish. hehe. well the hawaii people are close to each other. like an isolated sect. only short asians. and they have their own social gatherings, separate from the white mainland kids. So it's like I'm still in Hawaii if you know what I mean.

So there's a guy that I secretly have a crush on who is smart, funny, nice, & cute. He's in most of my classes but we hardly talk :(

I need fuzzy slippers and maybe some cozy boots, possibly Uggs. It's getting a bit cold ...about 58 degrees in the morning. I think I'm acclimatizing to the coldness.

I'm going to tell my sister to send me snacks like mochi crunch. I want to take the train to San Francisco one day, but I first need to find a group of close friends.
