New Year's Resolutions

1)Be more active in my school (GAIN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS IN EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING) Why? Because its f-ing boring anyways so I might as well be dedicating my time to whatever things I can to better my resume BIYOTCH
2) Ideal weight: 145. Make time for the gym & sauna. At least 3 times a week right after classes. Take less naps during the day, and go the gym instead. Do not rely on others to go, just go on own. Buy a good amount of cute workout clothes so that I have NO excuse at all. Already reduced dining plan to basic plan rather than prefferred, so I have less prepaid credit to buy food.
3) Make more conversation with other suitemates. Such as when brushing teeth, sitting in common area, or when not studying. Talk about anything....weather, classes, toothpaste, just SOMETHING.
4) Attend more Hawaii Club and APSU meetings to meet more people.
5) Make at least one white friend...seriously! What the frick? I thougth I would meet choke white people, but I am friends with all Asians, might as well be in Hawaii!!
6) Find an on-campus job where I do nothing and make $10 an hour
7) Decide on medical school.
8) Read a book for fun.
9) Make mom happy :) (Story of my life)
10) Set rules with roommate on bringing people into room at odd hours! >=O
11) Go to more office hours. Have each professor know me by name. Get help and talk story. So they can write me rec letters when needed.
12) Get new clothes. Dress more stylishly.
13) Take care of skin, face, hair no matter what.

The list could go on forever. But I will be realistic and stop here.

Hi to my fellow readers?

I'm back and found a lot of free time on my hands so I will grace u all with an update ;) hehehe

What have I been doing since I got back to Hawaii nei?

Hanging out with the family, eating a lot of Chinese food in the house AND outside. I went to Maryknoll today to pick up my sister for "an eye dr. appointment" (not....!) and had a good chat with Mrs. Agcaoili. She made me fill out some alumni card. And working out a lot at the YMCA. It has been kinda cloudy the past couple days. I don't understand why my little sister thinks its so cold and is always wearing a jacket now. She does not know what REAL cold is! Life is normal again. It felt as if I never left, and I don't really want to leave to go back to college :( !! WEll i will enjoy the time I have here.

I'm so glad I am done with the first quarter of school. It has definitley been stressful, especially during finals week. I ate and ate all kinds of food and hardly left my room the entire weekend. It was insane. My eyeball started twitching and I was grinding my teeth at night.

Oh speaking of teeth, I had a LOVELY visit to the dentist yesterday......NOT! I had 4 cavities and subsequently 4 fillings!! All I was expecting was a nice cleaning. Now I have fillings on all 8 of my molars...YAY! :( My dentist thinks that its because of my "college partying habits" haha he sure does know me too well....YEAH RIGHT!

My mom and sister read my journal while I was away. It was my Harry Potter journal from 5th/6th grade. Now they know all my dirty little secrets from back in the day. darnit. Nahhh my mom said she was touched because I said something along the lines of: I need to get all A's and not B's otherwise I'm wasting mommy's money for sending me to Maryknoll. haha i actually do remember having that mindset back then. probably still subcounsciously do now. yes im such a stereotypical asian, and what? ha ha

I may or may not visit Maryknoll teachers today or tomorrow....Darnit I shoulda today since I was already there, but I was dressed in beach clothes and my hair was all messy and wet! -______- MAYBE tomorrow.

1 MORE WEEK!!

Yup before I come home an lounge in the Hawaiian sun. I'm going to drive my mom's car, go to the beach, eat at Zippy's, eat a home cooked meal, and all that wonderful stuff.

But first I have to survive finals week! I really should be studying so I'm going to keep this post short. I hope you all do well on finals. I will be seeing you all during the break.

Black Friday Madness

So I watched the news and heard that two people got shot and killed in a Toys R Us somewhere in california and a worker got trampled to death at a walmart in New York. That is so ridiculous. Do people always get killed on black friday or is it happening more this year? That's sad that people got killed...is any sale really worth your life? Come on people!

On a brighter note, I spent approximmately $150 dollars. I bought CHOKE stuff for myself and for people on my Christmas list :) I am helping the economy through consumerism. I went to the premium outlet mall, same owner as the one in Waikele. There were amazing sales. Pac Sun and Aeropostale had a 50% off everything in the entire store. We stood in line at Pac Sun for like 3 hours only to be dissapointed when we got inside and the line for the cashier was not moving at all, so we decided not to buy anything elOh did I mention that I and Sara's family got to he mall at 12 in the morning and got back at 7 in the morning? :) That was the first time I did that in my life and it was really worth it. When we got back at 7 we crashed, woke up at noon, ate and then off to Target to do more shopping. I got a ton of good deals at Target and was gonna buy a $10 vaccuum, but realized it would be a great hassle to lug that back on the train to Santa Clara. Though I did buy a pink Brita water filter (its supports breast cancer foundation) and very nice flats. Then off to the dollar store where I bought some random things such as a Christmasty contraption that you hang on your door handle. Christmas is almost near. I cannot wait to go back home & see my family and all of you guys! I am really excited for Christmas this year for some reason. I just remembered that I have finals right before break starts. >_<

Today at Target I saw some kosher pickles. I don't understand what makes them kosher.

I <3 THANKSGIVING :)

I 'm already adding on the pounds!
Yesterday our dorm had a thanksgiving feast and I had lots of turkey (dark meat of course yum!) cranberry, baked potato, mashed potato, pasta salad, green bean casserole, and cookies, and truffles and apple pie. YUM! I cant wait for real thanksgiving :)! Anwyays today, I offficially declared my major and minor. I also am planning on going to see Twilight tonight with a couple of people. Hopefully we can get a ride from someone.
I 'm pretty excited since tomorrow I am going to take the Amtrak up to Sacramento to visit Sara Nishijima. Three hour train ride -__- im gonna finish reading some books. Prettty excited since I havent seen her in 2 years!! Sacramento's pretty much white county supposedly, so she's been warning me about not being surprised about being the only Asian on the bus.....haha!

Mood: Exhausted

I don't really like school right now. I'm not sure if its because I miss home or if its because of the work or if its some other reason. Ahhh I want to sleep for an entire day. I feel overworked, yet I'm here in the library right now. I just ate a turkey wrap and am now waiting for my chemistry lab group to arrive so we can get started on our lab report. I have no idea wtf happened in this lab, so I believe we are going to be here a long time tonight. We mixed some solutions and weighed some precipitates and goshh. I'm just ranting right now to....relieve stress? I don't really want to do anything right now.... Three more days till thanksgiving break ^_^ I don't think I've looked forward to any break more than this one.
I've been thinking about the future and what I want to do with my life. It is what fills my idle time. I realized that if I go to medical school I will be away from home and my family for an extremely long time. I don't know if I can handle that. I do not know if its worth it. Well they are here g2g!

Winter Quarter Classes

Since you all are talking about the future and classes and stuff, so will I. So next quarter I'm taking Calculus IV, General Chemistry II w/ lab(grrrr), some history class called WEstern Civilizations, English I Honors, and possibly international Economics. I think that I pretty much decided that I'm going to major in bioengineering with a minor in Economics, then go to med school to get my M.D. It makes me frustrated when my mother tells me not to become a doctor since I am a girl and I will have to work too hard, but I really don't want to settle for less. I mean being a civil engineer is OK I guess, but it just seems like a secure career path. I don't think it would be something that I would enjoy doing for the rest of my life. Anyways, I'm still undeclared in the school of engineering, but it's just a matter of filling out a piece of paper and getting some signatures from department heads now.
